Miss Izzie is growing fast - in fact, her weight has doubled in the past four weeks! She now weighs in at a healthy 23 ounces (or about two cans of coke!). Since I get to carry her around, I wasn’t too surprised. This baby is growing fast!

We saw Izzie today for the first time. She’s so adorable, even if she’s a blur for now! We are so thankful to God to see the perfect face, and hands and toes He’s formed for her. Yes, we also discovered that Izzie is a girl! According to the doctor she is growing well. At five months she weighs 12 ounces (340 grams) and is about the size of a can of coke.
A few hints for optimal Izzie viewing, or in case you have trouble finding her. She’s lying on her back. Her spine is visible on the bottom half of the left circle. Her head is the circle on the right. You can just barely see her tiny hand next to her face, by her nose, at the top of the picture.
