Kara’s Korner

Miss Izzie is growing fast - in fact, her weight has doubled in the past four weeks!  She now weighs in at a healthy 23 ounces (or about two cans of coke!).  Since I get to carry her around, I wasn’t too surprised.  This baby is growing fast!

We could put her on one of the bookshelves…that was Ashish’s plan. It would be nice and cozy, and she’ll fit just right, at least for a while. Plus she’ll have great company. And then we won’t have to move any of the books, or desks, or the computer out of the office!

It was a great plan, but the prospect of pink ribbons finally won out, and off went the books to the living room, along with the desk and the computer. The walls of Izzie’s nursery have transformed from boring white to sage green, and now there are curtains and sheets and bedding to be sewn. Of course, we’ll put a bookshelf in there too, just to make her feel at home!
